SLIDE ON THE FROZEN LAKE

Despite the difficult climate and temperatures reaching -20°C, nomadic herders do not hesitate to go several hundred kilometers to reach the Khovsgol lake at the beginning of March. Ice sculptures are built and a lot of entertainment is planned during the two days of celebration. The highlight being the horse races with sleds on the frozen lake which will consecrate the best team in the region.
