NADAAM FESTIVAL

Nadaam is a world-famous festival celebrating Mongolia's Independence. So what makes Nadaam so special? This is a great opportunity to witness Mongolia's enduring long-distance horse race, tradional wrestling, archery, and knuckle-bone tournaments. Annual Nadaam Festival lasts for up to 3 days

Once a year Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolian capital, holds its breath as the best fighters, horse trainers and archers in the country gather from every corner of Mongolia to compete for the most prestigious titles for ** Naadam Festival **.

Naadam is held from 11 to 13 July in Ulan Bator.

But do not worry! These aren't the only days Mongols celebrate their famous festival. Many of Mongolia's 21 provinces and its small administrative units celebrate the Naadam Festival on dates before or after July, depending on local anniversaries and grazing or herd conditions.
