THE GREAT LAKES HIGHWAY
A loop through the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire, the volcanic lake Therkhin Tsagaan Nuur to head towards one of the largest lakes in the country: Lake Uvs. We pass through the northern end of the Mongol-Altai mountains to reach the other great lake: the Khovsgol.
It is a wild and varied itinerary that offers surprises.
